Marc S. Katz, DVM, graduated from Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1977. He also received a Master’s degree in Veterinary Cardiology. Dr. Katz completed an internship program in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1978.
Dr. Katz is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Maryland Veterinary Medical Association, the Greater Baltimore Veterinary Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association. He keeps current by attending three to six cutting edge continuing education seminars per year. His interests in veterinary medicine include diagnostic medicine and cardiology.
Having loved and cared for a number of pets throughout childhood, most notable two Saint Bernards, Dr. Katz’s choice to become a veterinarian was a perfect fit. His extensive education and clinical experience at Kindness Animal Hospital over the past 41 years has helped him to keep his patients happy and healthy.
When not practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Katz enjoys his family (including five grandsons). He is passionate about biking and rides more than 3,500 miles per year. He brings his beloved Golden Retriever, Chloe, to work with him.
