Kindness Animal Hospital has the expertise to medically treat rabbits and pocket pets, such as ferrets, chinchillas, guinea pigs, rats, mice, gerbils, and hamsters. Just like dogs and cats, your pocket pet requires regular veterinary care to maintain good health.
If you have recently acquired a rabbit or pocket pet, we recommend that you bring your new pet to see us within 1 to 2 weeks after purchase. This visit allows us to check your pet’s current health condition and discuss tips for proper home care. Be sure to feed your new pet the same food as you were given at the time of purchase; we can discuss your pet's future nutritional needs during your first visit.
